Opening a business account

You can obtain a business account and a payment card through booksalon. The business account and debit card work like a regular bank account, and you will receive payouts directly to your booksalon business account quickly.

Opening a business account is easy and fast!

Processing the business account application takes approximately two business days.

1. Click the “Banking Services” tab in the system.

2. Click “View packages and pricing”, choose the package you want (Standard or Starter), and confirm your order.

3. Next, you will be asked to provide some background information about your company. Answer the questions and click “Next.”
​NOTE: Make sure the company address matches the address registered in the Finnish Business Information System (YTJ).

While filling in the information, you will also need to accept the terms of use. The terms are accepted by clicking “Next.” You will also receive the documents by email.

4. After filling in the background information, you must complete the account opening by verifying your identity. Click “Verify your identity.” The identification process will open in a separate window.

5. The system will send a text message to the phone number associated with your user account. Confirm your identity by clicking the link in the message.
If the phone number is incorrect or the text message does not arrive, click “Scan QR code.”

6. Next, you will need to confirm your identity by clicking “Confirm identity.” You will receive another link on your phone, which will allow you to proceed with the identity verification.

7. For the verification, you will need an identity document and access to your phone’s camera. Follow the instructions shown on your phone screen.

​NOTE: Identify yourself using either a passport or an official identity card. A driver’s license is not accepted for identification!
