If you want to compensate a customer with a gift card that contains a specific amount of value, you can do it as follows.
This is how you create a gift card without a charge:
Go to "Tools" and select "Gift Cards"
Click "Import existing gift card"
Choose your own unique gift card code for the card that you will use later when the gift card is used at the payment stage.
Set the amount to be refunded to the gift card and also the gift card recipient's information.
This way the gift card can be created in the gift card management system without having to sell the gift card separately and having a separate transaction in the sales reports.
This way of importing the gift card into the system does not add any sales to the sales reports, even if you enter the amount you want.
