What is a multi service booking?
A multi service booking is a booking that contains several different services with the same provider at the same time. You can enable the feature so that multi service bookings can be made from your own calendar, as well as from the customers' online booking view. This allows customers to book multiple services at once.
Multi service booking cannot be used in the following situations:
For booking two or more services on different days.
For booking two or more services with different employees.
How do you enable multi service bookings?
Multi service bookings can be enabled from the salon's calendar settings by following the instructions below:
Go to "Settings."
Click on "Salon calendar settings."
Under the heading 'Multi service bookings', enable multi service bookings for the Salons calendar and/or the Online booking widget.
Lastly, you need to save the changes.
How do you use multi service bookings?
Multi service bookings can be created in the calendar by following the instructions below:
Click on the desired time slot.
Activate 'Multi service'.
Select the services you want to book one by one by typing the service name, or by clicking on the popular services.
Under the heading 'Selected Services', you will see a summary of the services you have selected.
Click "Next."
If you wish, you can select additional services for your chosen services.
Click "Next."
Add a client to the booking. At this point, you can also adjust the preparation time if needed. Lastly, click on "Create Booking".
The booking then appears in the calendar. If you click on the booking, the selected services will be displayed in the calendar one after the other with their respective names, making it easy to identify which services are involved. Any preparation time specified will also be visible after the services.
Multi service bookings in the online booking widget
If multi service bookings is enabled in the salon's calendar settings for the online booking widget, then customers will be able to book multiple services at once by themselves.
In the online booking widget, customers will see a box to the right of the services that they can tick to select the services and add them to their basket. The amount of services selected is displayed at the bottom, next to the "Continue booking" button. After the customer has selected the services they require, they can go forward to finalize their booking by clicking on "Continue booking."
