What is the Booksalon PRO app?
With the booksalon PRO app, you can conveniently use the system on your mobile device. You can log in using biometric authentication or a PIN code, making login faster and more secure.
How to download the app
The app is available on both Google Play and the Apple App Store under the name booksalon PRO Salon App. You can easily download it to your phone from the app store.
Note: There is a separate app available for consumers, which can be found in app stores under the name booksalon.
Using the app
The app is navigated using the bottom navigation bar. You will find:
Calendar
POS
Menu
By clicking the “Menu” button, you can access other sections of the system such as:
Reviews
Campaigns
Services
Sales
Tools
Settings
Calendar view in the app
You can customize the calendar view using quick shortcuts. These allow you to:
Show time slots outside working hours
View the monthly calendar
Adjust calendar grid size and time intervals
You can also zoom in and out of the calendar by pinching the screen with your fingers.
Settings in the app
Personal settings (e.g. notifications) are located in the top right corner of the menu
Location and general settings can be found at the bottom of the menu
Chat support on mobile
Chat support is available in the app from the top left corner of the menu. We’re here to help if you have any questions.
Editing bookings on mobile
You can adjust the duration of a booking by tapping it and dragging the edges.
To move a booking, press and hold it, then drag it to a new time slot.
Payments in the app
If you want to use your phone as a payment terminal, tap the “Payment Terminal” button. From there, you can download the payment terminal app.
Note: Payments can also be processed normally via a physical payment terminal through the POS.
Multiple locations
If you have access to multiple locations, you can switch between them from the “Menu” tab by clicking the arrow next to the location name and selecting the desired salon.
